The breakfast was included in the price and had a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, warm croissants, and toast. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, willing to provide local knowledge when asked. The location was great, with shops, pubs, and restaurants within a 10-minute walk.
I was a bit cold at night and couldn't find an extra blanket. The duvet wasn't thick enough for me.

My partner and I had a great stay at Mandalay Guest House. The location was perfect, with easy access to Mevagissey's town center and the coastal path. We were also pleased to find parking available throughout our stay. The room was clean and tidy, although small for two adults. However, the hosts were kind enough to accommodate us earlier in the morning after a long drive. Although the room lacked a fan, making it quite hot at times, we managed to get a decent night's sleep.
We had a pleasant experience at Mandalay Guest House. Despite the basic breakfast options and discomfort caused by the heat and somewhat uncomfortable bed, the convenient location, cleanliness, and helpfulness of the hosts made up for any drawbacks.

The hotel had comfortable rooms and welcoming staff. the location was easy to find with ample parking. the views from the garden and rooms were amazing. the smart TV, clean rooms, and well-appointed shower were additional perks. It felt like staying with friends rather than a hotel.
The parking was limited, but it turned out not to be a problem. the limited tea and coffee options were a downside.
